Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the SiteLog application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free-trial users, subscribers, and company account administrators.

2. Description of Service

SiteLog is a field operations and safety compliance platform designed for construction, fleet, and general field operations. The Service allows users to create daily job logs, safety reports (incident, near-miss, LOTO), fleet inspection records, and related documentation. SiteLog is provided as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and as a native mobile application.

3. Subscriptions & Pricing

SiteLog offers a 30-day free trial for all new accounts. No credit card is required to start a trial. Full access to all features is available during the trial period. After the trial expires, continued use requires an active paid subscription.

Subscription fees are billed on a monthly recurring basis through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; no partial-month refunds are issued. SiteLog reserves the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days’ written notice to active subscribers.

4. Data, Records, and Accuracy

SiteLog provides tools to create, store, and retrieve field records. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data you enter into the Service. SiteLog does not verify, validate, or review any records, logs, reports, or documentation created by users.

Records created in SiteLog are not a substitute forlegally required OSHA documentation, DOT compliance records, workers’ compensation filings, or any other regulatory reporting obligation. It is your responsibility to ensure your records meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

SiteLog makes no warranty that records stored in the Service will be accepted by any regulatory body, insurance carrier, legal proceeding, or third party.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SiteLog and its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:

  • Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data or records
  • Regulatory fines, penalties, or citations arising from incomplete or inaccurate records
  • Work stoppages, project delays, or losses resulting from reliance on the Service
  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
  • Loss of profits, business, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages
  • Service interruptions, downtime, or data unavailability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SiteLog in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SiteLog does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. User Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your company account.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is stored securely via Google Firebase. Upon cancellation or account deletion, your data may be retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at the address below.

9. Termination

SiteLog reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

SiteLog may update these Terms at any time. We will notify active subscribers by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where SiteLog is registered.
